    What experience do I need to become a New Wave Home Care franchise owner?

    We seek financially qualified, motivated professionals and entrepreneurs from a range of backgrounds, healthcare-related or otherwise. Previous experience or work in a field related to home care isn’t necessary to become a franchise owner, however excellent customer service skills are a must.

    What is provided as part of the New Wave Home Care franchise program?

    We will help you open your elder care franchise business with confidence. Before you open your business, you will be expected to complete web-based pre-training prior to attending training at our corporate headquarters. A representative of New Wave Home Care will also schedule an onsite visit within your first six months of operation, which will include a full day of training, along with assistance with networking and building relationships with care managers and other lead sources identified in your territory. Plus, you’ll take advantage of our comprehensive and confidential operations manual for guidance through daily operations.

    How much will the New Wave Home Care franchise program cost me?

    The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $82,100 to $152,900 for a single location. This includes a $45,000 initial franchise fee. (Discounts may be available for qualified military veterans.) As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

    Is financing available?

    We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners.

    Are there ongoing fees to pay?

    We charge a royalty fee equal to 5% of total gross sales. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

    Are there any advertising fees?

    Franchisees will be required to spend $750 each month on local marketing. New Wave Home Care franchisees will also contribute up to 2% of gross sales into the system marketing fund; this fee is currently set at 1% of gross sales. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the New Wave Home Care brand.

    What is the term of the agreement?

    The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
